About this course

Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty… and a lot creative at our magical Matilda Camp! In this exciting week, young performers will explore acting, singing, movement, and storytelling inspired by the beloved musical. Through drama games, improvisation, script work, choreography, and musical theatre activities, campers will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork while bringing bold characters and unforgettable moments to life on stage. Students will develop performance skills through voice work, facial expressions, movement, and stage presence as they explore themes of imagination, courage, and standing up for what's right. From larger-than-life characters to energetic musical numbers, they'll discover the joy of storytelling through theatre. The week will end with a spectacular showcase performance where family and friends can watch their young stars shine!
